On average, they eat three servings of fish a week as well as squid and octopus, which are rich in taurine – which supports nerve growth which improves heart failure as it lowers high blood pressure by decreasing the resistance to blood flow in your blood vessel walls and CHF (congestive heart failure). Taurine also has important functions in the brain, including supporting nerve growth .

Green Food

They consume plenty of whole grains, vegetables and soy products too. More tofu and more kombu seaweed than anyone else in the world.

Kombu – reduces blood cholesterol and hypertension. It contains great amount of:

Tofu, which is also known as bean curd, is a food prepared by coagulating soy milk and then pressing the resulting curds into solid white blocks of varying softness; it can be silken, soft, firm, or extra firm.

Goya Champuru

Goya is one of the region’s USP dishes. It is a stir fry dish with bitter melon, tofu, egg, and pork belly. It has blood purifying agents which results in clearer skin and reduces chances of acne, eczema and psoriasis. It is also believed to improve digestion and weight loss.
